You're doing great things in the classroom. Take a few minutes and share them with your colleagues.

  1. I would like to share my collaborative biography project. My students are working with students in Chicago to write biographies of the U.S. Presidents. We are using pvLearners Shared Docs to contribute to the project. After the biography is written, we will create Shared Presentations on each President. This project incorporates writing, social studies, presentation, technology, and global connections.

  2. We are third grade teachers and are using webquests in the classroom. One was found on the internet and the other was created by us. The students each use their own laptop in the classroom to complete the tasks assigned. Students are able to go to links provided on the webquest to do research and are also shown how to do searches using popular search engines.

  3. We are beginning to use technology in our second grade classrooms. We use computers through our Accelerated Reading program. Students read a book and then take a test using the computer. We also study art in our Jr. Art program and use the internet and disc for information.
